The Powertact 2 is a portable cross-band repeater base station. The unit is designed to provide temporary local radio coverage for hand portables, together with cross repeat onto a countywide radio scheme. It consists of a three-transceiver modular unit mounted in a weather resistant portable enclosure together with power supply and an optional battery back up. It provides for:

UHF-UHF repeater function
VHF-UHF cross-band repeat
