INTACT-2 is an integrated tactical (truly portable) duplex base station for dramatically increasing the range of handportable or mobile radios. Being completely self contained, it can be deployed anywhere and will operate for over 48 hours on a single battery charge.

A mains input anywhere between 85 and 265 Volts a.c. (40 to 440 Hz) will charge the battery within 6 hours and power the unit simultaneously, making this a universal go - anywhere system. Leaving INTACT-2 plugged into the mains will constantly float charge the battery ready for use, without overcharging.

A 40 or 102 channel version is available in either VHF or UHF with CTCSS and DCS encode/decode built in. By swapping the plug in radio units, a cross band version can be made to repeat say UHF to VHF and vice versa. This means INTACT-2 can be used for several applications in one unit. INTACT-2 has a high isolation 6-cavity diplexer built in and we guarantee the receive performance whilst transmitting full power - very important for repeating weak handportable radio signals. The tiny case (30.8 x 20.6 x 20.6 cm) is weather sealed to 1P65, weighs less than 10Kg and can be vehicle mounted.

Truly portable

Flexibility

Can be charged from any mains supply in the world, and deployed on a remote site without power for up to 48 hours. Radio units can be simply plugged in to change the operational parameters (N.B. a replacement diplexer may be required in some instances)

Performance

Guaranteed receive performance of 12dB SINAD for 0.25µV input (typically 0.15µV) is better than most fixed base stations whilst transmitting 2.5W RF output power. Audio quality is uncompromised, and the charger / power supply is protected from short circuits, overcurrent, overvoltage, and over temperature conditions. It also meets EN55022/B conducted and radiated emissions. Operating ambient temperature range -30 to +50ºC

Ruggedness

The solid hard-drawn aluminum case is weather sealed to IP65 (provided the RF connector has self amalgamating tape applied correctly) and is extremely rugged. The battery is shock mounted for additional protection.
